  • Supplementary Nursing studies are aimed at people who already work in the profession of a nurse, but have only secondary education. The bridging studies provide the opportunity for nurses to improve their qualifications at every stage of their professional practice. They are a proposal to supplement the competences of registered nurses / nurses and allow this group to obtain a bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • WThe condition for undertaking bridge studies is to have the right to practice a profession or a limited license to practice.

  • Level A - 1 year / 2 semesters - for graduates of 5-year medical high schools
  • Level B - 1.5 years / 3 semesters - for graduates of 2-year medical vocational schools
  • Level C - 1 year / 2 semesters - for graduates of 2.5 years of medical vocational schools
  • Level D - 1 year / 2 semesters - for graduates of 3-year medical vocational schools
    SDepending on the type of secondary school completed, studies last from 2 to 3 semesters. The total number of hours during the course of studies varies depending on the level, and so:
  • Level A - 1150 hours,
  • Level C - 2410 hours,
  • Level D - 1984 hours.
  • level D - 1984 hours. The students of the bridging studies will receive a credit for some practical classes and professional internships after providing documents of employment periods in health care institutions and a certificate of completion of professional development (specialization and qualification courses). The limit of exemption from internships cannot exceed 50 percent of the total number of internships.
WSPS GRADUATES RECEIVE A BACHELOR'S DEGREE AND A NURSING DIPLOMA RECOGNIZED IN THE EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES.
  • Classes are held during Saturday-Sunday meetings, and if necessary, there is also a possibility of meetings on Fridays.
  • The knowledge and skills acquired during the studies make it possible to work in public and private healthcare institutions; health care institutions, nursing homes, therapeutic rehabilitation facilities, sheltered employment facilities, social care facilities, primary health care facilities, community and family nursing teams.
